After a long absence, I couldn't help but share this quick tip to reduce your Revit file sizes.

Occasionally, instead of using the Save button, click "File->Save as..". In this dialogue box, click "Options" then check "Compact file".

This process removes some of the, let's call it "residual stuff" that builds up over time while working on a project. This will not effect any families or remove anything noticeable to you.

I have saved 3-4mb on a 10mb project, I hope you have similar results.
